Thieves break into The Bay, steal $176,000 of jewellery

Three people broke into The Bay at Kelowna and took off with $176,000 worth of jewellery on August 19, the local RCMP reports. Two men and a woman entered The Bay at Orchard Park Mall early in the morning, disassembling the locks with tools they brought, smashing glass cases inside the store and stealing jewellery and watches including a $18,000 white gold diamond cluster ring. The thieves also took several 14 karat gold and white gold diamond earrings and pendants, as well as Movado and Bulova watches, bracelers, sapphire necklaces and ruby rings, totaling 130 pieces of jewellery.
