Galatea Jewelry Corporation (Galatea: Jewelry by artist) has named Edmonton, Alberta-based JewelMark Canada, Inc. as its exclusive Canadian distributor.
Based in San Dimas, California, Galatea is a designer and manufacturer of jewellery featuring pearls and gemstones while JewelMark, which was founded in 1988, employs independent sales representatives throughout Canada and is responsible for the sales, marketing and fulfillment for its brands.
According to Galatea CEO Chi Huynh, “The Galatea-JewelMark alliance will bring an experienced and streamlined sales experience to our Canadian customers. We have full confidence in Ed’s [Ed Killbride, JewelMark Canada CEO] expertise and his ability to make this a successful transition.”
Since 2013, Killbride sold Galatea jewellery as an independent representative in Alberta and British Columbia. He has also handled Canadian distribution for brands like Marathon and Benchmark across Canada. CJ
