GIA’s Jewelry Career Fair, the industry’s largest recruiting event, is returning to New York City on Monday, July 27 at the Javits Center. At this time, nearly 50 companies—including well-known global brands like Cartier, Rent the Runway and Tiffany & Co.— will be looking for hundreds of talented candidates to fill positions ranging from design and retail to management and manufacturing.

“GIA’s Jewelry Career Fair offers attendees a rare opportunity to explore the diverse careers and meet with prominent figures in this industry. It’s also a great way to learn how industry trends are creating job opportunities,” said Kathryn Kimmel, GIA senior vice-president and chief marketing officer, and co-founder of the GIA Jewelry Career Fair. “This is a once-a-year opportunity for New Yorkers to explore their passion for gems and jewelry.”

This year’s attendees will have the opportunity to hear from notable industry personalities during the opening panel on job success in today’s market.
The discussion, moderated by GIA president and CEO Susan Jacques, will feature Jeremy Dunn, founder of The Rephinery; Rhonda Edelman, group director of global education for Tiffany & Co; Myriam Gumuchian, co-owner, vice-president and director of sales for Gumuchian; Michael O’Connor, TV host, celebrtity stylist and style expert at Style & Substance, Inc and Lee Siegelson, president of SIEGELSON.
